What's Worked For Me

I have been inspired by reading and hearing other people’s inspirational stories of them overcoming obstacles. I have found that it is one thing to read a person’s inspirational story, it is another to have them explain the exact process by which they overcame their obstacles. I have done just that and listed 25 things that assisted me and still assist me to this day in living my life on purpose and in gratitude. I started with the very first thing that I did to get back on the path to my life’s purpose all the way up to what I do on a daily basis to help me stay there. 


1. Surrender yourself to the Divine (God) and stop fighting what your higher self has been whispering to you regarding the direction that your life is supposed to be going. Follow your life's purpose.

2. Stop trying to control any problems that you have.

3. Release the need for you to know all the answers.

4. Release judgment about yourself and others and focus on the love and light that is in everyone.

5. Empty yourself of those things that have been holding you hostage by lovingly releasing all negative thoughts and negative energy.

6. Stop regretting your past and stop fearing your future. Exist in harmony with NOW.

7. Start filling yourself up with positive energy, positive thoughts and love.

8. Accept that you are where you are supposed to be in life at this very moment because if it was meant for you to be somewhere else, you would be.

9. Accept that everything that has happen to you in your life has happened for a reason to get you to this point where you are now.

10. Stop trying to force things to happen and start allowing things to be. No one, not even you and your mistakes can stop what is meant for you.

11. Start seeing your life as you want it to be, not as you don’t. 

12. Align yourself with your life’s purpose and what you know deep down inside you should be doing.

13. Self-define your life based on your terms, not society’s, your family, your significant other, the entertainment industry or your friends.

14. Prepare to be uncomfortable as this is the only way for you to exit your comfort zones and grow.

15. Believe that EVERYTHING is possible while expecting miracles to happen EVERYDAY!!!

16. Manifest your destiny with positive, loving thoughts, without any fear, doubt or desperation accompanying them.

17. Pray, meditate and do affirmations when you first wake up and right before you go to bed.

18. Your faith plus your actions will guide you to your life’s purpose, no matter how stormy the journey may get.

19. Live in a constant state of gratitude being thankful for all that you are and all that you have.

20. Constantly nourish your mind, body and soul with those things that are good for them, not junk.

21. Expect EVERYTHING to ALWAYS work out for you, and it will, exactly as it is supposed to.

22. Free your inner child and start seeing the world through the eyes of a child as you did when you were a child.

23. Recognize that there is no I or me, only we, while seeing yourself connected to everyone and everything.

24. Listen to high frequency 528 Hz music to help relax and bring positive thoughts to your mind.

25. Give yourself time to rest and recharge and never over do it.
